Furley Page adds newly qualified solicitor to renowned Corporate team
November 26, 2018
An appointment by leading Kent law firm, Furley Page, brings a newly qualified solicitor to its highly regarded Corporate team, which is regarded as one of the best in the business and is ranked alongside some of the biggest law firms in the South East.
Will King graduated in 2014 with First Class Honours from London South Bank University, when he joined Furley Page as a Legal Assistant in the Personal Injury Team. The 25-year-old completed his training with the firm, gaining experience in the Corporate Team, Dispute Resolution Team and Real Estate Team.
At Furley Page, Will advises clients on a broad range of business matters such as business sales and acquisitions, company law, commercial contracts including terms and conditions, and supply of goods and services agreements, shareholders’ agreements and intellectual property.
He also plays an active role in the firm’s charity events as a member of the Social Committee and he organises events for the Canterbury Young Professionals networking group.
The Corporate team, which is made up of highly experienced specialists, is recommended by The Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners for its expertise.
Susan Jennings, Partner & Head of Corporate at Furley Page, said: “Will is enthusiastic, bright and driven and has all the makings of an excellent solicitor. He has worked hard to gain a thorough understanding of the law and develop his professional skills and I am certain that he will be a great asset to the firm.
“Furley Page is committed to training the next generation of lawyers, and we take great pride in providing excellent training and experience. As one of the leading corporate and commercial teams in the South East, our success relies on our high-quality staff and our ability to continue to provide excellent service to our clients.”
