Furley Page commits its future to Canterbury

June 19, 2025
Leading South East law firm Furley Page has confirmed its commitment to remaining in Canterbury and investing in the presence it has had in the city since 1725.
In the firm’s 300th anniversary year, Managing Partner Jeremy Licence has set out details of the firm’s ambitious medium-term growth strategy, which includes taking new office space.
Furley Page will remain operating from its landmark 39 St Margaret’s Street offices, but most of its Canterbury staff will be relocating from their current offices in Hawks Lane and Beer Cart Lane to new, purpose-built, A grade offices in Logan House on Rheims Way.
Jeremy Licence said: “This is an extremely exciting development for Furley Page in our momentous 300th anniversary year as we invest in our staff to provide modern, first-class office space in Logan House.
“Although the move is a huge change for the firm, it enables us to remain deeply rooted in Canterbury while improving the working environment for our staff. We can do this without any disruption to clients who will see no change as meetings will continue to be held in St Margaret’s Street, where we have been based since 1838.
“This move is an investment in our future by meeting the needs of the business, our staff and clients for decades to come.”
The move from Hawks Lane and Beer Cart Lane to Logan House is expected to be made during the autumn this year. The current offices at 6, 7 and 8 Hawks Lane, some parts of the St Margaret’s Street buildings and 12 Beer Cart Lane will be marketed for sale.
Logan House is in St Andrew’s Close, near to the Wincheap roundabout connecting the A28 Canterbury to Ashford Road with the A2.
