Sarah Webster is Partner and Head of Agriculture and Rural Business in the Furley Page Real Estate team. Sarah joined Furley Page in June 2022.
Sarah advises on a full range of commercial and agricultural property matters, which includes sales and purchases, options, promotion agreements and conditional contracts, overage, leases, Farm Business Tenancies, advice on Agricultural Holdings Act 1986 tenancies.
She has acted for a number of farming families and landed estates in Kent, Sussex and further afield. The work undertaken was very varied including, sales, purchases, commercial and agricultural lettings, sporting rights, options, promotions, conditional sale contracts, overage, secured lending and property aspects of succession planning.
Sarah also has expertise in acting for waste management companies on property related matters, including the acquisition of sites, complex licences for works for installation of plant and the use of restored landfill sites as translocation receptor sites in relation to strategic development projects.
She has acted for a number of pension funds on the acquisition and leasing of property.
Sarah experience of acting for charities, most notably an almshouse charity with significant property interests in Maidstone and surrounding areas.
Sarah Webster has been recognised for for her legal expertise in Agriculture and Rural Affairs by Chambers UK and was recommended in Legal 500 Agriculture and Estates, South East.
Whilst Sarah is based at our Whitstable office, Sarah also spends time at our Canterbury and Chatham offices and is available at all three sites.
