Divorce law, financial disputes, cohabitation disputes, child law.
Anne Blenkinsop is a Senior Solicitor in the Family Team with extensive experience in dealing with all aspects of relationship breakdown. She has practised exclusively in this field since 1990 and joined the Family Team in July 2004 after leaving a large regional law firm.
Anne advises on all areas of divorce and the financial issues arising from the breakdown of a marriage, such issues typically involving the division of property including pensions and assessing maintenance. She has a particular interest and expertise in resolving financial disputes between cohabiting couples (including same sex couples) and is developing a niche practice in this field to include applications on behalf of the children of unmarried couples for financial provision.
Other main areas of specialism and interest are children issues. Anne has many years experience in dealing with residence and contact cases as well as child abduction cases and applications by parents for leave to remove children temporarily or permanently from the jurisdiction.
Member of the Law Society’s Family Law Panel.
Member of Resolutions.
