Gillian McLaren has been a senior Legal Executive for many years in the Canterbury area and since joining Furley Page private client department in 1997 has specialised in making Wills and administering estates of various sizes.
Gillian also works closely with three local hospices and other members of the private client team to provide emergency attendance cover through the year, day and night.

She is often appointed an attorney or Deputy herself by clients and will go to great lengths to make sure their best interests are met. Gillian also advises on Spanish succession and prepares Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney for those moving to Spain, either permanently or temporarily. She is also available to assist in a situation where elderly or vulnerable relatives are being left in the UK.

... I am extremely happy and relieved that the process of executing my mother's Will is now over.
...I have nothing but praise and respect for what you have achieved for us beneficiaries. Your brilliant coup relating to my father's unused allowance, a coup which saved the estate several thousands of pounds of death duties, was a high spot of course. But it must be said that your management of the entire administrative process was characterised by a combination of professional integrity, empathy with the beneficiaries and administrative efficiency which I found totally admirable. I am most grateful to you. ...
