Career

Martin Kingman joined Furley Page in May 2006 to head the Debt Recovery Team. Martin Kingman is based at our new Chatham office in Medway; situated in the heart of the Thames Gateway.

Specialising in debt recovery for sole traders to multinational companies, Martin recovers sums on both a National, Europe-wide and International basis. Martin Kingman is experienced in dealing with debt recovery matters from the pre-issue stage (letter before action) through to obtaining and enforcing Judgments and International Asset recovery.

Martin has experience of mediation and arbitration as well as litigious methods and can assist in reaching an agreement by alternative methods if this is appropriate. He also has experience of acting as an advocate in both the County Court and before the High Court Masters in defended litigation matters.

One of Martin’s specialisms lies in asset tracing and recovery, which involves finding debtors who are attempting to evade debts. He has links with an international forum of enquiry agents who can trace people and assets worldwide.

Martin also advises both companies and individuals on insolvency and bankruptcy and on all aspects of credit control.
