Members of our team have provided legal advice to the insurance industry for 25 years. We have the expertise to advise insurance companies in both contentious and non-contentious insurance business both nationally and internationally.  Our experience derives from representing Insurers and their Insureds in both England and in many other jurisdictions.

A 24 hour incident response service is provided and subject to visa availability, members of the team will travel where required.

Contentious Insurance
We will advise on insurance issues ranging from policy wording interpretation, coverage disputes, defending insureds and effecting recoveries of insurers outlay. 

Examples of our experience includes professional negligence, product liability, property insurance and related recoveries, public liability, and various specialist risks together with areas of reinsurance. 

Non-Contentious and Regulatory Insurance Issues
We will advise on regulatory issues, captive insurance and risk management.

We have experience representing overseas insurers seeking authorisation for a branch office and have obtained relevant authorisation for a foreign insurance company intending to carry on business in Hong Kong.

We will give advice to brokers and other intermediaries to assist establishing their operation in England together with advice on regulatory issues that arise in the normal course of business of such organisations.
