Charity lottery offering the chance to win £25,000 in time for Christmas!

A weekly lottery launched by The Kent Autistic Trust is looking to expand its membership by offering players across Kent the chance to win up to £25,000.

With a prize draw every Saturday, members pay as little as £1 per week to gain the chance to win prizes of £25,000, £1,000 and £25. The charity lottery has so far attracted 270 members.

The Weekly Lottery will help The Kent Autistic Trust to fund its family support service, which is now solely reliant on grants and donations. Every year the family support service reaches out to more than 5,000 people on the autistic spectrum and their families across Kent.

Serita Boxall, Grants and Appeals Officer at The Kent Autistic Trust, said: “The Kent Autistic Trust Weekly Lottery is a great way to gain a chance to winning £25,000 in good time for Christmas, whilst contributing to help support a fantastic cause.

“Following the successful launch of our Weekly Lottery, our goal is to expand our membership to over 4,000 people, which will raise the vital funds we need to ensure we can continue to provide a free family support service. Any surplus will also enable us to enhance and improve other resources and activities within the Trust.”

Nicola August, Partner and Head of Furley Page’s Vulnerable Client Team, is a joint Chair of the Kent Autistic Trust. She said: “The Kent Autistic Trust does an incredible job supporting people on the autism spectrum and their families. The charity needs to raise a minimum of £110,000 to ensure it can deliver this support and the lottery is an innovative way of raising capital funding whilst spreading awareness of the Trust’s work.
