Rich Risino is a Senior Associate in the Furley Page Private Client team and is based in the Canterbury office.
Rich was a Partner at a regional law firm based in Kent and Sussex. He worked for three years at a London firm prior to joining Furley Page in July 2021.
Rich’s practice focuses on advising individuals and their families on personal tax, estate and succession planning issues paying close attention to how best to manage and protect assets for the benefit of the family in the longer term.
The range of instructions Rich works on is broad, from will and trust drafting and creation through to business succession and property taxation relevant to individuals and families. While he acts for clients of all ages and backgrounds, Rich has particular experience in guiding families on an orderly succession to their estates.
Most of Rich’s instructions have a capital tax planning aspect to them and in having worked with many business owners, Rich is familiar with the tax issues that impact those businesses as well as the individuals and families themselves.
Prior to joining Furley Page Rich spent the majority of his career in London and works regularly with clients and trustees based outside of the UK where there are assets and interests in both the UK and other overseas jurisdictions. Rich is well versed in and regularly co-ordinates the legal, tax and estate planning advice across jurisdictions for clients and trustees.
