Career
Joshua is a Partner based at our Whitstable office. He is the main contact for Private Client matters in Whitstable and the surrounding Coastal Towns.
Joshua also acts for clients from further afield and abroad, and he regularly advises clients who relocate to the area. His work covers a broad range of issues including Wills, Probate and Estate Administration, Lasting Powers of Attorney and advice in regard to tax issues and Wealth Preservation planning. He can also assist with various other matters.
His client base is varied, from high-net worth individuals, to those on more modest means. He has extensive experience in helping elderly clients, who may find legal matters daunting, and is able to offer easy access to legal services to those who have not dealt with solicitors before. Joshua also advises National Lottery winners from time to time, with the firm having been on the specialist Camelot Legal Advisers panel for a number of years.
Joshua offers a friendly, but knowledgeable service. He aims to help his clients understand their legal issues and then advise them on the merits of the options. He is very happy to deal with any query you have for the firm and likes to be a point of contact and support for all his clients.
Outside of the office, Joshua is a Trustee of the Whitstable Castle and keen supporter of local networking initiatives. Joshua is an established adviser for the Kent Law Clinic, an award winning pro bono service set up by the University of Kent.
Before joining Furley Page, Joshua studied at the University of the West of the England, completing his Law Degree with honours in 2005. He went on to work in London with HM Revenue and Customs in both their Prosecutions and Civil Proceedings offices for a number of years, whilst completing further legal studies in his spare time.
Joshua is a qualified Trust and Estates Practitioner and a member of STEP.
