Career

Andrew Masters joined the firm in 1999 and was made a Partner in 2002. Throughout his time with the firm he has been instrumental in the development of the Employment Team.

Andrew is recommended for employment law in the current edition of the Legal 500. He specialises in a wide range of dispute resolution, contentious, non contentious and corporate support employment law and related HR matters, working with an impressive client base ranging from national and international companies to educational establishments, charities and smaller enterprises. Over the years he has developed a strong reputation for advising employers at an early stage to prevent unnecessary and costly disputes.

Andrew is an experienced lecturer and trainer in employment law. He regularly presents at HR forums and business conferences as well as presenting training sessions for HR personnel and line managers. He has written a number of widely published articles on employment related matters and regularly appears in the media.

He has strong ties with Kent and Medway, which has shaped his understanding of the County’s economy.  Andrew is based mainly at our Canterbury office, but often lectures and works from our Thames Gateway office in Chatham.

Outside of the office, Andrew is a Governor of Kent College, Canterbury.
