Sarah is a Senior Solicitor in the Private Client, Trusts and Estates team, and head of the French Property, Tax and Estates Team.
She started her career as a private client solicitor in private practice in 2002. She joined Furley Page in October 2006, having previously worked in another leading South East law firm.
In addition to her legal qualification, Sarah is also a Chartered Tax Adviser (member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation).
Sarah has always had a focus on the French legal aspect of private client work. Her degree is in English law, French law and French language. She has close connections with France, with family living there for over 12 years.
Sarah advises on many aspects of French law for private clients, including estate planning and Wills with a cross-border element, French property sales and purchases, French capital gains tax and inheritance tax, the administration of French estates, and the French tax regime governing non-French trust structures.
